o Q: What time are you open?
+ Chambers of Horror opens at 8 PM every night. The show runs to 12 AM Sunday-Thursday and until 2 AM Friday and Saturday.
o Q: How much does it cost?
+ Click here for admission information
o Q: Are there discounts for children?
+ No discounts are offered, and no one under the age of 18 is admitted, you sicko!
o Q: Do you have to pay to get into the Chambers of Horror to go to the Splatter Bar?
+ No, admission to the Splatter Bar & Lounge is always free, so you can come enjoy drinks, movies, sideshow performances, and live music without paying a cover. To enter Chambers of Horror, you must purchase a ticket.
o Q: Do you charge for parking?
+ Street parking is available, however on nights with large events at the Masquerade, street parking may be limited. There is a parking lot adjacent to the Masquerade with a small parking fee.
o Q: Is there an age limit for The Chambers of Horror?
Due to the graphic nature of Chambers of Horror, we do not admit anyone under the age of 18. We used to do a PG-13 show and nobody came.
o Q: Is the waiting area inside?
+ The waiting area is outside in the Splatter Bar area, however, in inclement weather we will arrange for an indoor or covered waiting area.
o Q: Once we’ve paid for admission are we able to go through again?
+ No, however, you can purchase another ticket if you would like to walk through again. (People actually do this!)
o Q: How long does it take to go through?
+ It’s really difficult to give an answer to this question. Some groups run right through while others take their time ogling the mutilation. It really depends on how you deal with fear. The Chambers of Horror is over 6,000 square feet, so you’ll be in there long enough to get plenty scared!
o Q: Is it really scary?
+ Yes, in 2009 we had numerous people have to leave before completing the tour, and three people literally wet their pants in terror. If you have a heart condition this might not be the best way to spend your evening. You will be scared.
o Q: Is Chambers of Horror accessible to those with disabilities?
+ We do our best to be accessible to all our guests. There are some areas where it may be difficult to get a wheelchair through; in these areas we provide a bypass. Your guide will help assist you if necessary.
o Q: Is there security?
+ We provide Masquerade security every night as well as police officers on the busiest nights. We rarely need to call upon them, but we are glad they’re there and you will be too.
o Q: Can we be denied access to Chambers of Horror?
+ Yes, if you’re drunk and trying to punch or grope our crew members or actors, vomiting all over yourself, covered in human excrement, trying to break our stuff, or otherwise being a pain in our collective ass, you’re not coming through and you’re not getting a refund. We know we have a bar and people get a little tipsy. Just don’t be a dick.
o Q: Can we take photos inside your haunted house?
+ No, photography and video recording is prohibited inside the Chambers of Horror.
o Q: Will the actors touch us, or can we touch the actors?
+ No, the actors will not touch you, please be respectful and do not touch them. Incidental unintentional contact may occur. This should go without saying, but also do not attempt to fight or grope the actors. We know many of them are intimidating and/or sexy, but it’s not polite.
o Q: How is this haunted house different from most haunted houses?
+ Chambers of Horror is only haunted house inside Atlanta’s perimeter (making it the only haunted house actually *in* Atlanta). It is also the only haunted house that does not permit those under 18 to enter. It features nothing but true brutal terror, the kind of fear that only psychotic human minds and contemporary settings can evoke. There are no silly monsters or 3D blacklight effects. You are thrown into a real-life situation that you have to find your way out of. Who knows the potential terror that lurks within the human mind?
o Q: What’s the story behind your crew that runs the haunted house?
+ The crew behind Chambers of Horror are the same people who have been haunting his town for several years now with such events as Splatter Cinema, Atlanta Horrorfest, Silver Scream Spookshow, Zombie Walk Atlanta, the Crypt of Terror Haunted House at the Graveyard Tavern, plus a plethora of other horror-themed events over the years. We’re all horror geeks and enthusiasts as well as some of the city’s most talented FX artists, marketing gurus, and event promoters. We are also twisted as hell.
o Q: Are group discounts available?
+ Yes, if you have a sufficiently large group please contact Dr. Splatter to see about a discount.
o Q: I want to do a story on your haunted house, who do I talk to?
+ Please contact Lindsay Starke, our managing producer and PR representative to schedule an interview.
o Q: I have a question that wasn’t answered here, what do I do?
+ Please contact Dr. Splatter for help.
